Sign Up for Father-Son Wiffle Ball and Enjoy Quality Time with the Kids

Spending quality time with the kids isn’t always easy to do. Between work, extracurricular activities and managing a home, there isn’t much time left in the day to kick back and relax. This type of interaction tends to be harder for dads who spend more time out of the home. But, you can’t use this excuse forever. The kids are only little once, after all, so you need to embrace quality dad-and-kid time while you can. Building this time into your schedule is key because it becomes a priority rather than an afterthought.

Let’s take a look at the benefits that kids gain when spending time with Dad, according to multiple studies.

  • More emotionally secure

  • Increased confidence

  • Better social connections with peers

  • Less likely to get in trouble at home or school

  • Less likely to use drugs and alcohol

  • Improved cognitive and linguistic capacities

You don’t need to read what the research says to know that spending time with your child is beneficial. Think of how happy your son or daughter is to spend time with you, away from the distractions of modern life. Playing a game of catch, running around at the park or enjoying a leisurely stroll through the forest preserve are where some of the best memories are made. But how do you pencil in this time when you already have a full plate?

CK’s Baseball is here to help.

We offer Father/Son Wiffle Ball Classes on Saturdays in November and December. It’s an opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their sons, ages 5-10. If you know of other friends, family, neighbors or coworkers who would enjoy this activity, have them join too! You can create your own teams of 8, or we’ll place you on a team. Discounts are available if you sign up with two children.

The class will last for six weeks and be scheduled in the mid-afternoon. This is always a popular activity for dads and young sons, especially as the weather gets cooler and it becomes harder to get outdoors. The class is always a good way to keep your child on top of their baseball skills during the off-season. Any questions – give us a call. We hope to see you there!
